Have you ever needed to combine an image or two together into one file? If so, and you are a Windows user, you already have all the tools you need to do so.
Here’s your supply list:
- Microsoft Paint
- Mouse (those with dexterity issues may have a problem using the trackpad on a laptop)
- About 10 minutes or so depending on the clarity of the images
- 2nd monitor (not 100% necessary but it does make things much easier)
The first thing you’ll need to do is open the image files you’d like to combine in Microsoft Paint. Next, open another instance of Microsoft Paint and leave it blank.
Now, you’ll want to adjust the canvas as wide as possible to allow to images to fit cleanly on the new document.
Go to the first document and left click the image. Now hold the control button and press ‘A’. This selects the image on the screen. Next, hold the control button and press ‘C’. Alternatively you can right click and select copy but the other way makes you look cooler.
Now paste the image onto the blank canvas by either holding the control button down and pressing ‘V’ (aka the cool way) or right clicking your mouse and pressing paste. Do this to the second image in the desire manner you’d like the images displayed. Now that both images are on the same file, simply save it and you’ll have a brand new image.
